Indiana University Bloomington's Career Development Center houses, under one roof, a wide array of services designed to assist students in making informed academic, career, and job search plans. The staff of each unit of the CDC work together to best serve the career-related and employment needs of students. Within the CDC are the following:
- The Student Employment Office assists full-time and part-time students and student spouses in finding employment to help defray college expenses.
- The Arts and Sciences Placement Office helps College of Arts and Sciences students with their questions concerning career opportunities, the job search, and applications to graduate/professional schools.
- Graduate Career Advising Program A free resource for IU doctoral students who want to pursue careers in non-academic settings and need assistance with the search process.
- Career Counseling Services Provides counseling and career-exploration programs primarily for freshmen and sophomores.
- Career Resource Library
Houses books, magazines, and directories of potential employers, along with audio and video materials covering specific career choices and topics important to your career planning.
HOURS: 9am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.
- Internship Opportunities Program
A source for leads on internships and guidance for IU students.
